Our sixth class pupils will receive their Confirmation this Sunday in Skryne Church at 1.00p.m. It is an exciting time for the children as they prepare to receive their fourth sacrament. We hope it is an enjoyable and spiritual day for them all. We want to thank Skryne and Rathfeigh Parents Associations who will be providing refreshments in the hall afterwards.
Reminder: Circus Photography will be taking individual and family photographs in Skryne Hall on Sunday if you wish to have a photograph taken before or after the Confirmation ceremony please contact Suzanne at 087-8620056 to arrange a time. Please note the class photograph will be taken on Tuesday 25th March in the school.
Shay Casserly is doing a dvd of the Confirmation if you wish to order a copy please send €15.00 into the office.
Young Pioneer Membership – if you haven’t already returned your form to the school and you wish your son/daughter to join the Young Pioneer’s please return the form to the office as soon as possible.
Last week to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and Seachtain na Gaeilge we had a ceilí , tin whistle performances and singing in the hall. It was a fantastic day and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Pictures of the ceilí will be on the school website in the next few days.
Due to health and safety reasons the Board of Management requests parents not to drop off their children before 8.50a.m. in the morning. Under no circumstances should parents leave the school before the door to the hall is opened.
The Credit Union will be in the school tomorrow.
